We carry woven baskets made in Pakistan, India, Nigeria and Mexico.  They are modeled after Native American designs with Southwestern colors, suitable for everyday use or display in your home.  These fine baskets are intricately woven by the village women using a base of reeds, gathered at the rivers edge and wrapped with date leaf strips dyed colorfast. They embody the dynamics of color and design found in the finest Native American baskets and are  a great low-cost alternative for someone who loves the style but doesn't want to invest in a costly collector's item, such as a genuine Navajo basket.
